Interviewing Customers No. 3

My interview strategy was simple and straightforward. I wrote out my idea on an index card and handed it to random people after they had agreed to be filmed. Their reactions were then recorded.
This is the card I handed out:

Reactions:

My responses were mixed. I received enthusiasm from some and sarcasm from others. Overall, I do not really feel like this will affect my plans for this project much, however I will keep in mind the fact that I have my work cit out for me as far as convincing people that this is a good idea. Something else I noted is the confusion with some of my interviewees. I need to continue to improve the way I describe my business to others.

  1. This would be a neat idea! I certaintly would use your product. I ran into the same issue as far as trying to explain my product or business ideas with others. I went blank a couple times when people didn't understand my question. I love how enthusiastic your interviewees were, it was enjoyable to watch.

  2. Hi Jacob! Absolutely love your new way of interviewing people and the way you approached it. Love the diversity of reactions, even though it looks like it wasn't planned. I love your idea as well. Even though I would not consider myself a lover for books, I still would want to pick up a good read now and then. Here is my blog and my idea, check it out: Hi Erica! The assignment was to go out and interview potential customers that would be interested in your art/decor. Other than that, I think your idea is wonderful. I love art and I feel that it brings joy and comfort to people who also enjoy it as well. You should spend time on developing this.
