Elevator Pitch 2

The main feedback I received for my last pitch was that I try to slow down the speed at which I was talking and make my pitch less of an information dump. For this rendition I tried to force myself to slow down, as well as simplify my explanation of the product so that instead of having to pile in so many words in sixty seconds, I have more time to pace my speaking. I do notice that my closing was a bit awkward in retrospect, but overall I believe this to be a more solid rendition of the pitch.

  1. Hey Jacob, I do think you have a really good idea. I would appreciate having something that would recommend books, movies, TV shows, etc... for me. I always have trouble figuring out what to watch on TV when I finish a series and I think that your idea could help with that. My two comments are that you should be a little bit more prepared next time so that you don't have to try and find your place so often and that you should maybe spend a little bit more time talking about the product and what it offers. If you want to check out my pitch, you can find it at http://alexbeyrent.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-no-2.html.

  2. Hey Jacob, I think this time around it was a lot easier to follow. I also think that your idea is very original and creative, however I'm not sure how many people would be interested in it. I know that personally I would not pay for a product or service that tells me what I will like or should like. I would rather try it out myself because that's how you expand or define your preferences. I think trying new things whether you like them is a good thing.
